THE HERALD
The Herald, with its celebrated history and soaring 22ft ceilings, was rich with design potential and historical significance. The former 20th century printing house and site of the Washington newspaper wars, was given a new life as luxury corporate and private amenity spaces under the skilled architectural vision of Studios Architecture. The SEED approached the lighting design with a delicate balance of integrated architectural lighting to enhance the rich materials throughout and custom decorative fixtures that paid homage to it's 1920's past.
